First Week Insanity

Well what can really be said about frosh week.
It's over now, by the way, time to actually do some work at school and things.
hmm what to say.
Well, I got a lot of free things over the course of the week. I got two free deodorants from Lady Speedstick. I'm pretty happy. I won't have to buy deodorant for a while now. And it smells like strawberry double bubble. I'm not complaining. I love free things. I also won a box of mac and cheese? hmm.
Also got some nice free swag from TIFF, Aw yeah.

Ryerson had some nice events through the week, I attended a few:
Free Shisha @ the Ram
The Coffee House
and of Course the Parade and Picnic.

I did however miss out on the Dirty Bingo night, sigh.

I got two button pins made of my face.
Cute, right?

One thing that is disappointing about this week is that I have not got to go to TIFF. We did raffle off 20 tickets to "Ten Year" (screening for tonight, right this second actually). I wanted to go.

There are some nice things coming up in the next month to be excited / busy about. Keep an eye.

Last week I also went to The Supermarket in Kensington for a nice night out, we went and watched The Matt York Band (quite stellar), and Pat Robitaille (also stellar). Both put on a wonderful show to watch and hear. Insane talent happening there. I recommend checking both of them out, you know, if you like music.

I really haven't been documenting my busy week too well other than in my head. But I mean with photographs.

Friday was Ryerson's Parade and Picnic.
Last year, I did not make it, and I rarely take part in frosh-y things, but I have this year, and to be honest I'm glad I did. The parade was great fun. I was extremely festive, and we had the most perfect weather.
The outdoor concert was really lovely as well. Aleesia played, then Nomadic Massive, and then last but not least, Dragonette.
I was beyond stoked that Dragonette was playing our frosh. I like them. Everyone put on a great show and lots of dancing and enjoying was had by all. There is photo documentation of this day thanks to Ruzanna.
