As I leave, and finish my exchange (by traveling parts of Europe). I'm trying to keep the above phrase in mind. It's hard not to feel sad about the end of something so wonderful, and saying goodbye to the delightful people I've spent the last 6 months of my life with. It's hard to explain to someone else, I mean, this feeling. It's hard not to feel a little bit hopeless when you live on the other side of the world, and you feel like you'll miss everything forever.

So, I guess I just have to realize that all good things end, but it marks the beginning of something else entirely. I'm so thankful to have been able to do all that I have, since there were times when this was in question, and thankful to have met so many amazing people, who I will forever consider friends. Plus, it just means that I'll have to keep one-upping myself in terms of exciting life goals and adventures, and come back.

----

The last week of everyone being together, 10 of us took two cars (later joined by another), and we  road-tripped around the coast of Denmark, reaching the most North point, where the North Sea and the Baltic Sea meet, and then back again. It was truly spectacular, and not something I will soon forget.

First off, we stopped in Odense, just to see what it's like. The weather was gorgeous, we took a walk around the city, and through the park (which is really nice). Then we headed to the Cabins in "Malling" a place outside of Arhus.

We went to the museum in Aarhus, ARoS. I really enjoyed thaaaaaaaat, the rainbow panorama was also quite the sight.

Continuing along, we went to the Sahara. Not really, we went to the  Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse, which was I think my favourite spot we visited, it just seems so out of place in Denmark, these giant sand dunes. It was really lovely though.

Then onto the most North point of Denmark, to Skagen, the weather was not so nice in the beginning, but turned into a really nice day, and we ended up spending many hours on the beach.

We took the ferry across to Sweden, to Gotenberg. It was midsommer, so not many people were out in the streets, but the city was nice, and we found the traditional celebration happening in a botanical garden: Singing in swedish with flower crowns.

All in all, it was a nice way to end the semester, with most of us all together. After that, there were many goodbye parties, and hugs. I left on the 28th, with Aggela, to come to Greece with her. We cried while flying many many kilometers in the air, that makes it cooler right? After a lot of tears and 12 hours of traveling, we've made it. Greece is really nice, everyone is super welcoming and that's always nice. There is a lot of delicious food, and sunshine. I am not a lobster quite yet. Tomorrow we'll go to Athens to meet our friend Joanna, and see all that lovely stuff. So far, the euro-trip #2 is going well. I just wish I didn't have to say goodbye so soon.

xx
