Valborg Spirit - Sverige Adventure

This is delayed, but I'm never on time writing things like this, I like to take my time. In the end of April, beginning of May, some of my friends and I headed over to Stockholm / Uppsala to celebrate Valborg. Which is supposed to be some sort of welcoming spring festival or something, but it's really generally a lot of drinking, and having fires. Don't volunteer to have a Valborg party in your flat though, because apparently you might get your fridge/couch/microwave/etc. thrown out of your window. Unless you want that, well.. it's better to let someone else have that party.

Stockholm was beautiful, we had really nice weather on the day we visited. Lots of walking, coffees on a hill, tried some Swedish desserts also. Very nice.

In Uppsala we stayed at a friend's dormitory. If you've ever seen that viral video on youtube "when you scream out the window in sweden" or something like that... well we stayed in the place where it was filmed. And it happens every single night at 10. So basically you just holler as loud as you can off your balcony, out your window, etc. Its actually quite an enjoyable thing to take part in.

Anyways, after our cultural days, things got really - ridiculous. We definitely chose a fun travelling group. Everyone is just so damn hilarious. I don't think one trip has produced such hilarious stories at one time. It was definitely one of the best trip's I've ever been on and I don't think I will forget it.

I've bought my ticket to Greece, and soon I'll buy one to Italy and to Spain. July is going to be unforgettable and I will be so sad to say goodbye to the many amazing people I've met this semester. But I'll be back soon ;)
